Concept
A floor for a team that had outgrown its cell plan. Meeting rooms were pulled to the core and the perimeter given back to the desks, so daylight reaches the people who sit at them all day rather than the rooms booked twice a week.
Acoustics do the work colour usually gets credit for: suspended rafts over the open floor, a deep red on the closed volumes, and a carpet that changes weave — not shade — where the circulation runs.
