A restaurant floor that had to work at two very different hours. Lunch takes the daylight along the glazed front; the evening pulls inward to the banquettes, where the light drops to table level and the room closes around each setting.

The furniture was drawn for the plan rather than chosen for it: the banquette depth, the table module and the aisle between them are one dimension, repeated until the room is full.
