Concept
A café with a queue problem before it had a design problem. The bar was turned ninety degrees and pushed to the long wall, which gave the order line the depth of the room instead of its width.
One bench runs the full length opposite the bar. Loose tables sit against it, so the room takes couples and groups without being re-set.
